  • Membership Information

    The Commission consists of seven (7) regular members and two (2) ex-officio members appointed by the Mayor of the City of Memphis.

    The ex-officio members shall be:
    1) The Mayor of the City of Memphis, or his or her designee, and
    2) The chairman of the Council of the City of Memphis, or his or her designee.

    Board members must be City of Memphis residents.

  • Per Referendum Ordinance No. 5265, members of the City of Memphis boards and commissions, excluding joint city-county boards and commissions, are required to live and maintain a residence within the limits of the City of Memphis.
